The challenge was not the basis for future memes using the lyric. In May of , multiple video posts using the lyric appeared on Instagram. One of the first posts to use the lyric paired an edited clip of the lyric with images of Scooby-Doo. While the original poster is unknown, the clip appeared on YouTube and Instagram  on May 3rd, shown below. After that video was posted, several others appeared on Instagram with various characters.
